On the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, IBS Hyderabad has announced that IBSAT 2020 will be conducted in online proctored mode or an Internet-Based Test (IBT) mode. Get the details here.

IBSAT 2020 to be conducted in Online Proctored Mode

IBSAT 2020, the MBA entrance exam for the ICFAI Business School (IBS) campuses is slated to be conducted on December 26 and December 27. Although originally the computer-based test was slated to be held in 95 test centres across India, according to the latest notification issued by the conducting body, IBSAT 2020 will be conducted in an online proctored mode wherein candidates can appear for the test from their home. The decision has been taken on the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Details About IBSAT 2020 Online Proctored Test 

The online proctored test ensures the safety of the candidates by minimising the chance of being in a public gathering and thus reducing the risk of contracting the coronavirus. In order to appear for the online proctored test, candidates must ensure the presence of following IT infrastructure:

  • A properly functional laptop or desktop computer with sufficient memory

  • An internet connection –broadband wired or wireless

  • Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)

  • The operating system should be Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1 or Windows 10

  • The laptop or computer should be enabled with a webcam which should be switched on throughout the exam duration

  • Speakers and a microphone –built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth

The detailed system requirements and instructions will be issued by the IBS Hyderabad shortly. The IBSAT 2020 application process is underway and candidates who are yet to apply for the test can do so till December 16. The IBSAT 2020 admit card is expected to be released in the third week of December.

Candidates who have already registered for IBSAT 2020 can appear for the official IBSAT 2020 mock test released by the exam authorities which will aid their preparation and practice for IBSAT 2020.
