Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar has completed 100 percent placement of its fourth PGP batch. The highest domestic annual package offered to a candidate stood at Rs 40 lakh per annum.
The Indian Insitute of Management (IIM) Amritsar has announced that it has completed 100 percent placement for its PGP 2018-20 Batch. This year, IIM Amritsar witnessed substantial growth in its final placement statistics as compared to 2019.
The highest domestic annual package extended to the IIM Amritsar candidate stood at Rs 40 lakh per annum up from 21 lakh per annum last year.
As per the statement released by the IIM authorities, students are placed in various groups with an average cost to company (CTC) reaching up to Rs 12.61 lakh per annum.
The authorities said that since September, as many as 106 candidates have been placed during the placement drive. They have been placed in various management sectors like marketing, sales, finance, and also operations and analytics.
This is the first time that a healthy spike has been noticed for the placement in advisory and consulting roles. Students have been placed in three big accounting firms, including Deloitte, Ernst &Young and KPMG.
Other than this, many International firms like Amazon, Grant Thornton, and Biseleri also came to the institute for the placement.
