IIM Bodh Gaya go digital to welcome new batch for the academic year 2020-21. Read further to know more.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya welcomed the sixth batch for its flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management for the 2020-22 session. The institute will be conducting the orientation program for the new batch through online video conferences on July 21 and 22. IIM Bodh Gaya will also be welcoming students to its new PhD prgramme for the academic session 2020-24. This year, the institute will be welcoming 180 PGP students and five PhD students are going to become a part of the college this time around.
IIM Bodh Gaya is conducting this two-day orientation program in order to help students understand the course, the institute and culture. Ashish Kr. Chauhan, MD & CEO, Bombay Stock Exchange, will be gracing the event as the Chief Guest. Falguni Nayar, Founder and CEO, Nykaa.com, and Damodar Mall, CEO, Reliance (Retail), who are also members of the Board of Governors of IIM Bodh Gaya, are the guests of honour.
The first day will feature a panel discussion that will be moderated by the director of the institute, Dr Vinita Sahay. The events of the first day will discuss in details various aspects of the corporate world and how the upcoming business leaders can develop themselves to become an integral part of this world. The second day will shift its focus more towards the personal development and wellbeing of the students.
IIM, Bodhgaya, offers Postgraduate Programme (PGP) and PhD programmes in the field of management. Admissions to PGP is based on CAT 2019 score and performance in the Common Admission Process (CAP). CAT score has 40 per cent weightage in the final selection round.
