IIM Calcutta Logs 100% MBA Placement 2026; Highest Package INR 145 LPA

IIM Calcutta MBA Placement 2026: Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM C) has achieved a 100% placement for its MBA programmes in 2026. In the 61st MBA batch, a total of 458 students participated in the placement, 202 recruiters participated. The students secured 542 offers in 2026.
The highest international offer reached INR 110.16 lakh per annum whereas the highest domestic compensation offered this year is INR 145 lakh per annum.
The number of recruiters engagement is up by 3% and the average compensation increased by 5.05% year-on-year to INR 36 lakh per annum showing continued demand of MBA graduates.
IIM Calcutta Placement 2026 Details
Students got maximum offers from consulting sector which stood at 206, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) been the top recruiter in management consulting. Accenture Strategy topped in the strategy consulting cohort and in payments and card domain, American Express remained the top recruiter.
Other consulting firms that participated include EY-Parthenon, Kearney, Alvarez & Marsal, Bain & Co, PwC, TCS, Vector Consulting, KPMG, McKinsey & Co, Monitor Deloitte, and YCP Auctus, among others.
More than 100 offers came from investment banking, venture capital, private equity, asset and wealth management. The participating companies were Avendus, Bank of America, Citi, D E Shaw, Ambit, Arga Investment Management, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, J P Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Edelweiss, O3 Capital, Rothschild & Co, Standard Chartered, Neo Asset & Wealth Management, Kotak Alternate Asset, Kotak Mahindra Capital, and UBS.
"The recruitment season witnessed noticeable growth in consulting and product management roles, with overall sectoral distribution remaining largely aligned with last year's trends. Both new and legacy firms participated in the process, reflecting strong recruiter confidence across sectors. The marketing domain saw participation from Glenmark Pharma, Hindustan Unilever Limited, ITC, AB InBev, Colgate-Palmolive, Dabur, and Procter & Gamble, among others," said an official of IIM Calcutta, as reported by media.
