IIM CAT 2025 registration process is ongoing. The CAT application form was released on August 1, 2025. Candidates can register for the exam at the official website. CAT 2025 registration last date is September 13, 2025.
CAT 2025 registration window is open at the iimcat.ac.in website. Candidates who plan to appear for the exam should fill and submit the CAT application form 2025 by September 13, 2025. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled on November 30, 2025 in over 150 cities. This year, IIM Kozhikode will be conducting the exam. According to the official CAT 2025 notification, there is no change in CAT syllabus and pattern from last year. Candidates can expect 68 questions from VARC, DILR and Quantitative Aptitude in CAT 2025. The exam duration will be 2 hours and there will be three shifts.
Test city will be allotted to candidates as per the choices mentioned in the IIM CAT 2025 application form and the exam shift will be allotted randomly.

How to Register for CAT 2025?
The IIMCAT 2025 registration process is online and candidates have to fill the application form at the official website only.
- Go to iimcat.ac.in website
- Click on New Candidate Registration
- Fill in basic details like name, DoB, email id, etc.
- Verify registration with OTP received
- Go to CAT application form and fill personal details
- Enter academic details and select test cities
- Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
- Select IIM courses, campuses and interview cities
- Pay INR 2600 as fee (INR 1350 for SC/ST/PwD) students
Candidates must note that the CAT fee is non refundable so they must not make any mistake in the application form. During form correction, only test city, photo and signature fields will be editable. If a candidate makes any error in the form, they will have to register again and pay the fee again.

Candidates need the following documents while filling the CAT application form:
- A recent passport size photo (color against white background)
- Scanned signature with black pen on white paper
- Any photo ID card like PAN card, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Graduation marksheet
- Permanent address proof
- Work experience documents Reserved category students need to upload Category Certificate along with the CAT application form. The Certificate is available on the CAT website. Candidates can download, fill it, get it attested by competent authority and upload it as PDF with the CAT application form.
- The PwD category students also have to fill the PwD form and Scribe affidavit along with the exam application form. This is necessary for getting scribe facility and PwD facility at the test centre. The CAT application form is same for students from all categories. Those belonging to a particular category (SC/ST/PwD) will be required to mention it in the relevant field of the CAT form.
