IIM Lucknow admission criteria
IIM Lucknow has released the MBA admission criteria and selection process document for the 2026-2028 batch. Admission to MBA, MBA-ABM & MBA-SM will be based on CAT 2025 score. From this year, the institute has added a minimum work experience of 24 months eligibility criterion for MBA-SM.
The qualifying CAT cut offs for WAT-PI shortlisting remain the same as previous years for all three MBA programmes. For MBA, candidates will need a minimum of 90 percentile, for MBA-ABM and MBA-SM they will need a minimum of 85 percentile to be eligible for the IIM Lucknow WAT-PI round. Calculation of Composite Score for WAT-PI will include academic profile.

IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2026: Final Selection
The final merit list will be prepared after WAT-PI round. The minimum requirement to clear the PI is 12 out of 40 mark. The final selection of candidates will be based on their score in the following parameters:

CAT 2025 exam will be held on November 30, 2025. Registrations for the exam are underway and the last date to apply is September 13, 2025. Candidates planning to pursue MBA from IIM Lucknow must fill the CAT 2025 application form and select IIM Lucknow and courses as admission preference, to be eligible for admission.
