Karnataka PGCET 2025: Aspirants Seek Postponement Citing Clash with Semester Exam

Several candidates have approached the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) requesting a postponement of the Karnataka PGCET 2025 for MTech Computer Science Engineering (CSE). Karnataka PGCET exam for MTech CSE admission is scheduled to be held on June 2 in CBT mode. Students have raised concerns as their final semester university exams are scheduled on the same date.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 exams for other MTech/ME disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics are scheduled for May 31. Many applicants have similarly reported a clash with their UG level exams. Karnataka PGCET 2025 admit cards for these subjects have already been released on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2025.

For MBA aspirants, the Karnataka PGCET exam is scheduled for June 22. Students have expressed concern over the limited preparation time following semester exams and have requested KEA to consider rescheduling the MBA test as well.

As per a notification regarding CSE exam, KEA had to release the PGCET MTech CSE admit cards on May 25, but the download link is yet to be made available. Additionally, mock tests for the CSE exam were scheduled for May 26 and 27, but no update has been provided so far.

Since the CSE exam is clashing with the semester exams, KEA may revise the Karnataka PGCET CSE exam date 2025. In case of any change in the exam date, candidates will find the same on the official website.
