Karnataka PGCET 2025 Exam Dates: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka PGCET 2025 admit card for MBA, MCA exam. As per the Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam dates 2025, KEA will conduct the MBA and MCA exam on June 22. Earlier, KEA had successfully administered the PGCET Karnataka exam for ME and MTech courses. Candidates who applied for admissions via PGCET 2025 exam can now download the Karnataka PGCET 2025 admit card from the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2025. 

Along with the PGCET exam dates, KEA had released the schedule for Karnataka PGCET registration. KEA will notify schedule for other exam events with the launch of the PGCET website.

Q:   What is the frequency of the Karnataka PGCET exam?
A: 

Karnataka PGCET exam is conducted once every year. The exam score is valid for one exam session only. Karnataka PGCET is an offline exam with as many as 100 MCQs to be answered within 150 minutes.  Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is administered annually by Karnataka Examination Authority. Karnataka PGCET acts as the gateway exam for admission into PG courses, including MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech. and M.Arch in the state of Karnataka. 

Q:   When will the official Karnataka PGCET answer key release?
A: 

As per the official Karnataka PGCET brochure, the answer key will be available within three days after the completion of the entrance test on the KEA website. The candidates / parents / lecturers, will be able to file their objections, if any, within three days in respect of any of the published answer key. Candidates are also required to submit all the supporting documents & justification for the objection filed. Objections filed by the candidates without justification shall not be considered. Objections received after the last date fixed shall not be considered. Objections received by the KEA will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final in this regard.

Q:   When will KEA declare Karnataka PGCET results?
A: 

Usually, the Karnataka PGCET results are declared within a month of the exam date. However, there can be delays in the release of the results due to unforeseen reasons. It can be interpreted that candidates are able to download the Karnataka PGCET results within 30 to 45 days of the exam date.

Hard copy of the Karnataka PGCET result or mark sheet is not sent to the candidates. They have to take printouts of the mark sheet and preserve it till the counselling and admission process is over.

Q:   What is the counselling schedule for admissions based on Karnataka PGCET?
A: 

Soon after the declaration of the Karnataka PGCET merit list, candidates qualifying the exam can participate in the Karnataka PGCET counselling for MBA admission across the state. The schedule for counselling is announced after the result announcement. Karnataka PGCET counselling date will be announced soon.

In the counselling round, the allotment of seats is done based on merit and priority options. The counselling process includes candidates' registration, document verification, option entry, and seat allotment. Selected candidates have to pay the admission fee to secure final admission in the allotted college.

KEA conducts Karnataka PGCET 2025 for MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech and M.Arch admissions in Karnataka. The Karnataka PGCET admission process involves multiple events, including the application process, application form correction, the release of hall ticket, Karnataka PGCET exam, the publication of the PGCET answer key, declaration of result and more. Filling Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Form

Karnataka PGCET registrations commenced online. Candidates will be allowed to apply for the exam within a stipulated timeline. KEA has the authority to extend the Karnataka PGCET registration window. Candidates are allowed to visit the official website of KEA (kea.kar.nic.in) to complete the PGCET registrations as per the schedule. KEA may also reopen to the Karnataka PGCET registration window. The deadline for completing the Karnataka PGCET application fee payment may differ from the registration deadline.

Besides the registration, KEA facilitates the Karnataka PGCET application form correction window. The window is available for a span of three days. Release of Karnataka PGCET Hall Ticket 2025

KEA releases the Karnataka PGCET hall ticket online for all the candidates who fill the application form before the last date. As per the Karnataka PGCET information brochure, the hall ticket is released 10 days prior to the exam date.

The hall ticket of Karnataka PGCET 2025 hosts details related to the exam, including the test centre details, Karnataka PGCET exam date, personal details related to the applicant and some exam day guidelines. Candidates can download the Karnataka PGCET admit card until the examination day.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Exam Dates

KEA will conduct the Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam for MBA and MCA courses on June 22. The exam for MBA and MCA courses will be held on a single day. Whereas, ME/MTech/March exam is scheduled to be held on May 31. Candidates will have to mark the correction answer options in the allotted system. Irrespective of the course, Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam has a total of 100 multiple-choice questions.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Answer Key Release Date

KEA releases the Karnataka PGCET answer key in two phases. The provisional answer key of the Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam comprises answers to all the questions that appeared in the exam. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against these answers. Subject matter experts will review the challenges and further release a final answer key. The Karnataka PGCET 2025 final answer key will be released along with the result.

To apply for Karnatka PGCET, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50 per cent (45 per cent for unreserved categories). In addition to the qualifying degree, candidates aspiring for a part-time MBA must have a minimum of three-year of work experience to be eligible for Karnataka PGCET.

Also, the form correction window opened for the registered candidates to edit the form if there are any errors in it.
