Candidates raised concerns over mismatches in marks and rank after release of Karnataka PGCET provisional results. Check more details here.
KEA released PGCET 2025 results for MBA and MCA courses, followed by MTech results. Several candidates reported discrepancies in results and scores as per revised answer key. Candidates pointed out in PGCET MBA and MCA exams scores in final result should have matched scores calculated using revised answer key. However, this was not case in many instances.
A tutor posted on X that many students noticed errors in their PGCET MBA, MCA, and MTech results. Post claimed that "final marks are totally different from official key answers" and that there was a "rank mismatch" in several cases.
An example shared on social media showed that one MTech candidate with 69 marks was allotted rank 10, while another candidate with 55 marks received rank 4. Screenshots of Karnataka PGCET 2025 scorecards were widely circulated online.
Following these reports, many candidates expect KEA to release revised PGCET results. However, KEA has not confirmed any revision or provided a timeline for a possible update. With counselling process for Karnataka PGCET yet to begin, candidates are worried about ongoing discrepancies could delay seat allotment process. Students and tutors continue to demand clarification from KEA to ensure that results are accurate before start of counselling.
