IIM Kozhikode released the CAT result 2025. Candidates who are unable to meet the expected CAT cutoff can consider admissions through other MBA entrance exams mentioned here.
CAT 2025 results are declared at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates can download CAT scorecard now. Those who did get the desired CAT score can still aim for tier 1 MBA collleges. Some of the tier 1 MBA colleges accept XAT, NMAT, GMAT, and other exams. Candidates can also consider admissions via state-level MBA exams, like TS ICET, AP ICET, Karnataka PGCET, TANCET, etc.

Some alternate MBA admission routes are listed below along with the timeline:
- TANCET 2026: Anna University conducts TANCET exam for MBA admissions in Tamil Nadu. TANCET 2026 registration is expected to start in January. TANCET exam is conducted every year in March.
- ICET 2026: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have ICET exams for state level MBA admissions. AP ICET will be held on April 28. TS ICET 2026 exam date is yet to be released. Registrations for both ICET starts in the month of March.
- XGMT 2026:ย XIM University conducts XGMT for MBA admissions at university level. Candidates can apply for XGMT 2026 exam until December 30. XGMT 2026 will be held on January 25.
- NMAT 2025: Although NMAT test window is closed, GMAC is expected to conduct an additional exam phase in January. All candidates who did not consume their three attempts at NMAT will be allowed to appear in the additional phase.
- MICAT 2026: MICA conducts MICAT for admission to its PGDM and PGDM C courses. MICAT 2 registration will end on Janbuary 29 and the exam will be held on February 13. Candidates must have appeared for any of these exams tro be eligible for MICAT

- XAT 2026: The registration process for XAT 2026 is now closed. XLRI will conduct XAT 2026 exam on January 4. Those who have applied for the exam can aim for XLRI admission.
Candidates will also have an option to appear for CAT exam in the next term. Those who are aiming for PGP programmes offered by IIMs can take year gap with a focused preparation.

XAT exam is conducted in online mode so you donโt have to carry any stationary item apart from a blue/black ball point pen which is to be used for signing the attendance sheet.
Candidates should not carry to the examination centre, electronic items such as phone, watch, IPad, calculator, pager, etc. They should also not carry any metal items. Clothes and accessories having metal and metal jewellery are also prohibited inside the examination centres. Caps, headgears, sunglasses, clothes with pocket and hoodies are not allowed at the XAT exam centre. Candidates must also not carry bags and any other valuable item as candidates will not be allowed to carry anything inside the exam centre apart from a pen and documents. There will be no arrangement for depositing the bag at the exam centre.

Candidates must choose one exam city while filling the TANCET application form. An exam centre will be allocated within the preferred exam city.
