MGU MBA Admissions 2021: Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) Kottayam has commenced the admission application process for the MBA programme offered at the School of Management and Business Studies, for the academic year 2021-22. MGU offers 60 seats under the two-year management programme. The last date for issuing application forms and receiving filled applications is August 15. The University will close the applications on August 20. MGU MBA Admissions: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the management programme at MGU are advised to go through the below-mentioned eligibility criteria before applying:

• A minimum of 50 per cent aggregate for all the parts of the exam in any Bachelor's Degree Examination of Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree of any other Universities duly recognized by MGU or a Master's Degree Exam with 50 per cent in aggregate. Under the grading system, C Grade of Mahatma Gandhi University or equivalent thereto from the other recognized Universities with a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate is required to become eligible.
• For SC/ST students, a pass in any Bachelor's Degree examination is required
• The Reservation rules are applicable as per the Government and University norms in all the affiliated colleges. Candidates awaiting final semester result can also apply

MGU MBA Admissions 2021: Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates for MBA programme at MGU will be based on the following:

• Score obtained in CMAT/CAT/KMAT, Group Discussion and personal interview in the ratio 80:10:10
• Relaxation of Marks & Reservation of Seats
• Only a pass in the qualifying exam is required for SC/ST candidates. 3 per cent concession for SEBC candidates and 5 % concession for OEC candidates
• In the absence of SC/ST candidates, vacancies will be filled up by admitting eligible OEC candidates; 3% of seats shall be reserved for candidates having physical disabilities
• Physically challenged candidates suffering from disability of 40% or more and certified as such by a Government. Medical Board indicating the percentage of disability shall be considered for reservation

How to apply for MGU MBA Admissions?

Candidates can apply for the MBA programme at MGU by downloading the application form from the official website of the University. No applications will be accepted without the submission of the application fee.  Candidates must deposit the registration fee of Rs 880 at the university cash counter/Friends Jana-Sevanakendram or by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the "Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University", payable at SBT MG University Campus Branch (Code: 669), PD Hills PO, Kottayam.

Candidates falling under SC/ST category need to pay only 50% of the registration fee. The candidate must enter the full postal address of the applicant with pin code on the reverse side of the demand draft in block letters. Candidates are also required to forward duly filled applications along with registration fee (Demand Draft/Pay-in-Slip) and a self-addressed stamped (Rs.5/-) envelope to the Director, School of Management and Business Studies, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills P0, Kottayam-686560, Kerala.
