December 5 MAT 2021 PBT exam cancelled at Vizag and Bhubaneswar due to Cyclone Jawad. Read details.
MAT 2021 PBT mode exam scheduled for today has been cancelled at two test centres in Vizag and Bhubaneswar due to Cyclone Jawad. Candidates of these exam centre can take the test in IBT or CBT mode scheduled later this month.
Following is the official notification as posted on the AIMA-MAT website.
“In light of the present Cyclone Jawad situation Bhubaneswar and Vizag centres only are hereby advised that it will not be possible to administer MAT Paper Based Test scheduled on 5th Dec. 2021 in these two centres. Hence, candidates of these two centres are advised to convert to “Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)” mode scheduled for 18 Dec.21’ or “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode 19 Dec. 2021. These candidates have been intimated individually also by email and SMS, which they are advised to go through immediately.”
MAT 2021 exam for December phase is being conducted in CBT, PBT and IBT modes. Registrations began on September 29 and are underway for CBT and IBT modes. The last date to apply for MAT CBT is December 12 and the deadline to apply for MAT IBT is December 15. However, candidates of Vizag and Bhubaneswar centres are not required to register for the exam again. Their current registration will remain valid. They simply need to log in to their MAT 2021 account and covert/upgrade exam mode to CBT or IBT.
Steps to Upgrade MAT Test Mode
Given below are the main steps to follow to change MAT examination mode:
- Open the AIMA-MAT website
- Click on 'upgrade to IBT/CBT'
- Enter email ID, password and date of birth
- Click on login and make the changes as required
