Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, will release the MICAT phase 2 scorecard by tomorrow. Based on the MICAT scores, and selection criteria, candidates will be shortlisted for GE and PI process.

MICAT 2 results will be declared by tomorrow, February 14. Candidates who took the MICAT phase 2 exam on January 25 will find the MICAT scorecard on the official website, mica.ac.in. Candidates will be notified via SMS regarding the release of the MICAT results. MICA will also release the GE-PI shortlist soon after the results are declared. The institute will consider the best of two MICAT scores to prepare the MICA GE-PI shortlists.

As per the schedule published on the official website, mica.ac.in, MICA is to release MICAT phase 2 results and GE-PI shortlists tomorrow. However, in the past session, MICAT scorecard was published 2-3 days before the GE-PI shortlists were released.

Candidates will be able to book slots to appear for the MICA GE-PI rounds, followed by downloading the call letters for the selection rounds. MICA is conducting the GE and PI process at Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Delhi. The offline selection rounds will be held from February 28 to March 23.

MICA Selection Process 2025

The MICA PGDM selection process involves considering valid scores from CAT, XAT, or GMAT, in addition to MICAT scores. The MICAT exam consists of three sections. The first section (Section A) is a Psychometric test, which serves as a qualifier and is not used in the merit list preparation. 

Candidates who pass this section will get their CAT, XAT, or GMAT scores considered. MICA sets cutoff scores for these exams, and those who meet these cutoffs have their scores from the third section of MICAT assessed. The third section includes three sub-sections similar to other MBA entrance exams. Candidates who pass this section have their performance in the second section, a descriptive test, evaluated. 

Scores from both the second and third sections are considered for the final merit list. Candidates who qualify through this process are then shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI).

Final selection of the candidates for the PGDM scores is done based on the merit list. MICA final merit list is drafted based on the composite score prepared using the below-mentioned weightage:

Candidates selected after the merit list preparation will receive offer letters. Candidates who do not accept the offer letter on or before the date mentioned on the offer letter, will get their seat forfeited. The seat will be offered to the next best candidate.
