MICAT 2026 registration window for first phase exam is open. Today is the last date to apply for MICAT exam. Candidates can access MICAT registration window until 11:50 PM. MICA will issue MICAT admit card to all applicants on December 3 for the exam to be held on December 6. Candidates aspiring for PGDM/PGDM-C admissions at MICA must complete the registration process before the deadline.
MICA conducts MICAT exam in two phases. MICAT registration for second phase exam will start on November 25. Candidates can appear for both phases of MICAT exam. MICA considers best of two scores for admissions.

Candidates filling the MICAT application form for one course have to pay INR 2,500 as the processing fee. Candidates who choose more than one course will have to pay INR 500 extra for each course. MICAT application fee is to be paid separately for first and second phase of exam.
To get admission to MICA for PGDM, candidate must attain the neccessary percentile in CAT/XAT exam. For admission through CAT, the last round closing percentile was 80, among General AI category candidates. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates has remained constant since the past three years.

Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, conducts the MICAT exam in two phases. Candidates can apply for both the phases of the MICAT exam. Candidates are also allowed to apply for either of the exam phases. MICA shortlists candidates based on the best of two scores in the MICAT exam phases. Candidates who do not take both the phases are shortlisted based on their MICAT score.
Candidates who did not apply for the first ohase of MICAT can also apply for MICAT-2. The registration process for both MICAT I and MICAT II remains the same. However, candidates who filled the form for MICAT I get a few details filled automatically while applying for MICAT II.
