Mocks for NMIMS Competency Assessment, AI-Assisted PI Out Soon for NMAT Qualifiers

SVKMs NMIMS will soon release the mock test for competency assessment exam as the part of the second round admission process. All candidates who have been qualified based on the NMAT cutoffs are eligible for second round MBA admission at NMIMS.

NMIMS to Release Mocks for Competency Assessment, AI-Assisted PI for NMAT Qualifiers Soon

SVKMs NMIMS will soon release the mock test for competency assessment and AI based personal interview inside the NMIMS dashboard. All candidates who had filled the NMIMS PI and competency test form will be allowed to practice the mock tests. Several candidates on Reddit indicated the release date of competency assessment mock tests as January 28. NMIMS PI calls had mentioned the schedule for release of all the details on competency assessment and PI by January 25. Candidates who filled the NMIMS admission form for PI and competency test are still waiting for the institute to release the mock test on the NMIMS dashboard.

The official website of SVKMs NMIMS does not state any date for release of the mock test paper for competency assessment. Lately, in an interview, NMIMS Vice-Chancellor hinted that the syllabus for competency assessment will test candidates on their managerial ability, cognitive ability, and critical thinking skills.

 SVKMs NMIMS will start the PI and competency assessment test for all shortlisted candidates from January 31.

With the dates for the second round of NMIMS MBA admission approaching, candidates are anxious about what the competency assessment and PI will bring. Until the last exam session, maximum weightage for MBA admission at NMIMS was with the NMAT scores. However, starting the current year, competency assessment holds 50 per cent weightage in the NMIMS MBA selection criteria.
