KJ Somaiya MBA Admissions through NMAT: KJ Somaiya Institute of Management (KJISM) is inviting applications for MBA admissions via NMAT, CAT, XAT, and other exams. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the conducting body of NMAT exam, do not release the NMAT cutoff scores or percentile. Candidates aspiring for KJ Somaiya Institute of Management MBA admission will have to fill the application form in an online mode. While filling the KJ Somaiya MBA registration form, candidates will have to choose the exam score based on which they require admission.

No. IIM admissions are based on the CAT exam scores. More than 50 colleges accept NMAT scores for MBA/PGDM admissions, IIMs are not among the NMAT participating institutes. Admission to IIMs is not possible using NMAT scores. Top b-schools such as SVKMs NMIMS, XIM Bhubaneswar, KJ Somaiya, TAPMI, among others accept NMAT scores for admission. Candidates aiming for admission to IIMs must appear for CAT exam and meet the admission criteria, such as WAT, PI, etc.
NMAT sectional cutoff is the minimum score required in each section of the exam for admission to a particular B-school. NMAT exam has three sections.

Scaled scores: The scaled scores are prepared after normalising the marks obtained by the candidates. These scores are equated to account any differences in the overall difficulty level. This process is applied to check the scores are comparable across the different sets of question papers.

The scorecard of NMAT sent to schools will be updated with the announcement of the result. For example, if a test taker is said to score 75 percentile, the test taker scored better than 75%ile of all the test takers who took the exam.
