Adani Accelerated Leadership Program Scholarship launched at IIM Lucknow; The scholarship is open to first-year PGP students in 2025, expanding to both years from next cycle
As many as six students of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) will have their entire tuition fees covered under a new scholarship introduced through the Adani Accelerated Leadership Program (AALP). The initiative was formally launched on the IIM Lucknow campus, in the presence of senior leaders from the Adani Group and IIM Lucknow faculty.
The Adani scholarship details
As per a release issued by the institute, the Adani Accelerated Leadership Program Scholarship will be awarded through an application process and rigorous evaluation using AALP’s leadership metrics.
This year: Six first-year students will benefit.
From next year: The number of awardees will increase to include both first and second-year students.
During the launch, Subhashrie R. Venkatraj formally introduced the scholarship to students, emphasizing that the program aims to build future-ready leaders through both financial support and mentorship.
Speaking at the event, Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Airport, underlined the transformative role of education and industry partnerships in nation-building. “With GDP per capita rising and demand for infrastructure growing faster than ever, the convergence of technology and infrastructure—where AI and digitalisation redefine how we operate assets—is truly transformative. India is poised for a major leap through strong public-private partnerships, domestic capital, and global investments,” Adani said.
A panel discussion and a fireside chat with students followed, covering themes like early leadership opportunities, customer-centric innovation, technology–infrastructure convergence, and purpose-driven careers. IIM Lucknow and the Adani Group are also exploring multiple future collaborations in the education and leadership development space, with more details to be announced in the coming months.
