GCT Coimbatore has commenced the TANCET choice filling process today for MCA course admissions. Candidates with a valid TANCET rank can pay the initial deposit and complete the choice filling process.
TANCET 2024 Choice Filling for MCA Admissions Commenced
The Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, has facilitated the TANCET MCA choice filling process inside the login dashboard. The login portal is available on the official TANCET counselling website, tn-mbamca.com. A total of 191 colleges offer MCA course admissions based on TANCET ranks. During the choice filling process, candidates need to choose the college and course preference. TANCET MCA seat allotment will be based on the candidate’s rank, category, and, choices filled during the TANCET choice filling process.
Candidates need to pay an initial deposit of INR 5000 before proceeding to cill choices. Reserved category candidates have to pay INR 1000 as the initial deposit. MCA aspirants can pay the initial deposit and complete the choice filling process on or before August 2. Payment of initial deposit can be done online. The amount of initial deposit will be adjusted at the time of admission fee payment after allotment.
After the choice filling process, candidates have the option to re-order their choices, followed by locking the choices. No candidate will be allowed to re-order their preferences after they lock the choices.
MCA Seats Available for TANCET Online Counselling 2024
After the completion of the TANCET special reservation counselling, a total of 5895 seats are available for MCA courses. These seats are available in as many as 191 colleges situated in Tamil Nadu. the space below mentions teh category wise distribution of these 5895 seats:

GCT Coimbatore will release TANCET seat allotment for MCA courses on August 3. Once the candidates confirm the seats as per the tentative allotment, GCT will release the provisional allotment list on August 5. With the release of TANCET MCA allotment list, GCT will commence MBA choice filling process from August 5. Candidates will be able to pay the initial deposit followed by choice filling process until August 8.

Candidates must choose one exam city while filling the TANCET application form. An exam centre will be allocated within the preferred exam city.
Candidates must not carry any prohibited items inside TANCET exam centre. Candidates can carry admit card, a valid photo ID proof, and basic stationery matrial. Any kind of electronic gadgets are banned inside test centre.

Anna University exam dates change every year. In the past two exam sessions, Anna University has been conducting the TANCET exam in March for MBA and MCA courses. Anna University maintained the exam schedule in line with the previous session. The complete schedule, including answer key release and result dates, was announced in due course.
