TS ICET 2025 Counselling Starts Tomorrow; Check Admission Eligibility here

TG ICET 2025 qualified candidates can participate in the Telangana MBA counselling, which begins tomorrow, August 20. TGCHE facilitates the TS ICET slot booking window for certificate verification. Candidates have to complete the certificate verification process at the helpline centres. Before the TG ICET slot booking, candidates have to enter a few basic details followed by payment of a processing fee. Reserved category candidates have to pay INR 600 as the processing fee for the slot booking process. Whereas, the unreserved category candidates are required to pay INR 1200 to book slots for TS ICET certificate verification.

Eligibility for TG ICET 2025 Counselling

Candidates must have met the following eligibility conditions to apply for the TS ICET 2025 counselling:

  • Unreserved category candidates must have secured a minimum of 25 per cent in TG ICET 2025 exam; no minimum score requirement for reserved category candidates
  • Reserved category candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent in the qualifying degree exam.
  • Unreserved category candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks in the qualifying degree exam.

Candidates who have obtained the qualifying degree by Distance Mode Program / Open Distance Learning (ODL) must check the recognition of Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations.

Along with the above mentioned eligibility, Telangana MBA admission will have 85 per cent seat reservation for the local candidates of OU area and the remaining 15 per cent of the seats are unreserved seats.

Q: Β  When will TSICET counselling begin? Who will be eligible to apply for the TSICET counselling?
A:

Telangana Council of Higher Education releases the TSICET counselling dates for all qualified candidates. All eligible candidates can apply for the counselling registration as per the official admission schedule. Every year, TG ICET counselling starts within 40 0 50 days of result declaration.

All TSICET test takers are not eligible to appear for the counselling process. The eligibility to appear for TS ICET counselling is as follows:

  • Unreserved category candidates securing marks greater than 25 per cent of the total score, i.e. 50 marks, are eligible to participate in the TSICET counselling.
  • Reserved category candidates are eligible for the counselling, irrespective of their TSICET scores.

A:

Candidates aspiring for admissions based on TS ICET ranks have to attend the TS ICET counselling. TSCHE conducts the TS ICET counselling online. Candidates having an eligible TS ICET scores can pay the processing fee for counselling and book slots for certificate verification from the official counselling portal.

Based on the slots booked by the candidate, he/she will be required to appear for the physical certificate verification round. Once the documents are verified, candidates can complete the TGICET counselling registration and generate a password. This password along with other login credentials helps candidates participate in web options entry process held online.

Based on the options exercised, rank, and candidate's category, TGCHE releases the TS ICET seat allotment results. The TGICET allotment results are accessible inside the counsellong login.

The entire process for TS ICET counselling is conducted online with a physical document verification process.

TSICET counselling is conducted in online mode. Candidates who have qualified for TSICET must register themselves online through the official website. However, the document verification round under the counselling process is held offline at the designated helpline centres. Candidates need to visit the centre for document verification as per their rank. After the document verification process, candidates can log in to the official counselling website and fill their choice of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. The seat allotment process is also conducted online based on the merit, category, and choices filled by the candidate. Candidates can check their allotment status on the official website. The entire TSICET counselling process except the document verification round is conducted in online mode.
