University of Hyderabad MBA admissions 2022: Last date to apply extended

UoH MBA Admissions 2022: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) commenced the admission application process for its two-year full-time MBA programme for the academic session 2022-24. The four-semester MBA programme at UoH offered by the School of Management Studies is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The University of Hyderabad provides a total of 60 seats under its MBA programme. During the first two semesters, core and foundation courses are offered. In the second year, students can choose a specialisation in two selected areas of their interest. The specialisations offered at UoH for MBA are marketing, finance, operations, human resources, entrepreneurship, business analytics and banking. Students can take up specializations through electives and project work which is spread over two semesters.

Students can also opt for eight weeks of internship in an organisation during the summer intervening between the second and third semesters for industry exposure. Candidates must note that the admissions will be based on the scores secured in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021.

The applicants applying for the UoH MBA programme must have a minimum three-year first-class bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent marks in any discipline recognised by the University Grants Commission/the Association of India Universities/AICTE. The degree should be obtained on or before June 2022. Students completing their final examinations by June 2022 are also eligible to apply.

No applications will be accepted with an application fee. For general category candidates, the application fee is 600INR while it is 550INR for EWS, 400INR for OBC and 275INR for SC/ST/PwD (PH) categories. The last date to submit the UoH MBA application form has been extended until February 15, 2022. Earlier, the last date to submit applications was January 31.

The shortlisting of candidates will be based on their performance in group discussion/interviews on the basis of the CAT 2021 scores. The MBA class at UoH will commence in the month of July 2022.
