XUB placements 2021: The highest domestic salary stood at Rs 24 lakh per annum, while the average annual compensation stood at Rs 15.15 lakh per annum.
The Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB) has successfully completed its placement for the MBA students of the session 2019-2021. The institute achieved 100 per cent placements despite the ongoing pandemic and slump in the job market.
The Xavier Institute of Management, School of Human Resource Management and School of Rural Management under XUB announced that they have placed the MBA students of 2021 session and that half of the recruiters are new companies.
XIMB is a renowned B-school known for its two-year flagship business management programme. This year, while the average salary stood at Rs 15.15 lakhs per annum, the highest domestic package was Rs 24 lakh per annum. The highest number of recruitments was made in the consulting sector (31%) followed by Systems (21%) and marketing (20%) and other sectors.
A total of 129 candidates from the School of Human Resource Management participated in the placement process. Altogether, 26 out of 52 new companies participating in the drive were new recruiters. The highest domestic salary stood at Rs 20 lakh per annum.
School of Rural Management saw 106 candidates participating in the placement drive of which all were successfully placed. The highest salary of Rs 11.25 lakhs per annum was offered by the international consulting firm PwC and the average salary remained just above 7.00 lakhs per annum. Amul, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Care India, IDFC First Bank, Prestige, Satin Credit Care, AISECT, RBL Finserve, PRADAN, BRLPS-Jeevika, MPSRLM, Rajeevika, Drishtee were some important recruiters. In total 40 companies participated in the process of which 17 were new first-time recruiters.
