Nearly 61% of sanctioned posts at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bibingar are lying vacant, confirmed the RTI reply.

As per the RTI reply, over 61% of sanctioned posts at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bibingar are lying vacant.

As per the reply by Administrative Officer AIIMS Bibinagar, there are a total of 183 faculty posts sanctioned, of which 89 are filled and 94 are vacant. For senior residents, 50 posts are sanctioned, 38 are filled and 12 are vacant, for junior residents, 50 posts are sanctioned, 22 filled and 28 vacant. As many as 600 posts are sanctioned for the nursing officer, 190 posts are filled and 410 remain vacant.

Hence, against a total of 883 total sanctioned posts, 544 seats are vacant, and 339 posts are filled.

AIIMS Bibinagar conducted Workshop on Materiovigilance

The Department of Pharmacology and Medical Device Adverse Event Monitoring Centre, AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad in collaboration with the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) organized the Workshop on “Materiovigilance” on July 16, 2022.

The Chief Guest for the program was the Executive Director Prof Vikas Bhatia and the Guests of Honour were Officiating Dean Prof Nitin John and Medical Superintendent Prof Neeraj Agarwal.

The Executive Director during his keynote address highlighted the importance and current relevance of materiovigilance, emphasized the different domains of patient safety and promised that AIIMS Bibinagar would closely liaise with IPC in all future activities.

Dr Kalaiselvan deliberated on the Materiovigilance Programme of India its inception, progress, and current status.
