Directorate of Medical Education Chhattisgarh has announced Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling dates 2024 at the official website. Students can check the CG NEET UG round 1 counselling dates 2024 including registration dates, merit list date, seat allotment date and other important events. The CG NEET counselling dates 2024 are available for admission to 85% state quota MBBS, and BDS seats in Chhattisgarh and 100% MBBS and BDS seats in private medical colleges in the state.

As per the schedule, the round 1 Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling registration 2024 will begin on August 18, 2024. The last date to apply for CG NEET UG round 1 counselling is August 24, 2024. Further, the round 1 choice filling and locking will be ongoing for 8 days i.e. between August 18 to August 25, 2024. Subsequently, the authorities will release the Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling seat allotment result 2024 on August 30, 2024

Students must note that the authorities will not allow fresh registration in any round except for round 1. Hence, students have to complete the Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling registration 2024 before August 24, 2024. Further, no fresh merit list will be released by the authorities other than round 1 counselling.

A:

The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories: central or national, and state counselling. The central counselling for NEET is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for the admission to the 15 per cent All India Quota seats. On the other hand, State Authorities or the Education Department of various states conduct NEET state counselling for the 85 per cent state quota seats. MCC conducts the NEET counselling for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing courses. On the other hand, the State Counselling Authorities conduct the admission process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other medical or allied courses.

The eligibility criteria to participate in the NEET counselling process is given below:

a. They must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) by securing the cutoff marks as per their category

b. They must be registered on the official website of MCC

c. All candidates, including candidates from the UT of J&K, can participate in the counselling for AIQ seats and deemed universities.
