GGSIPU Postpones MBBS 2nd Prof.(Regular/Reappear) Theory Examinations

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has postponed MBBS 2nd Prof.(Regular/Reappear) Theory Examinations till further notice.

As per the recent notice by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), the university has notified the postponement of MBBS 2nd Prof.(Regular/Reappear) Theory Examinations that was earlier scheduled to start from today, January 10, to further notice.

The official notice reads, "It is notified to all the concerned that the MBBS 2nd Prof.(Regular/Reappear) Theory Examinations which are scheduled to commence from 10th January, 2022 have been postponed till further orders."

The GGSIPU notification has not specified any reason for the postponement of examination but there was demand from students to postpone examination considering the current Covid-19 scenario. 

Many students were demanding examination postponement on the social media platform, here are the related tweets:

"@GGSIPUIndia its been a high time now to take major step for keeping everyone safe around us. I being a part of ggsipu family would like to request the examination cell to switch for online exams coz in such hectic environment it isn't easy to make offline exams."

"555 MBBS students of IP university called to physically appear for exams on January 10 amid rising Covid cases. Also, no SOPs issued. Wonder how students will give exams in such a scenario!"

"We students of GGSIPU, Delhi are going to face our MBBS Proff Exams in offline mode. Many of my batchmates are COVID +ve and many are Suffering from COVID related symptoms. We are not in a mental situation to write exams. So we request @msisodia, @NMC_IND to postpone the exams."

First-year MBBS students at GGSIPU are also demanding to postpone the examination, here are a few related tweets:
