Maharashtra NEET 2021 counselling: Round 2 seat allotment dates soon at cetcell.mahacet.org
Maha CET Cell will release the schedule for round 2 Maharashtra NEET UG 2021 counselling soon at its official website. Round one counselling was concluded on February 9.
Maharashtra NEET counselling round two schedule will be released soon. Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (Maha CET Cell), which is the authorised body empowered to conduct the seat allotment process will release round two Mahacet NEET UG 2021 counselling dates on its official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Round one seat allotment list for MBBS/BDS courses was released on February 1 and candidates were given the deadline of February 9 to join the allotted institute.
Earlier on February 15, Maha CET Cell announced that seat allotment process will be conducted after completion of All India counselling for respective rounds by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). βAs per direction issued by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (C) 76 of 2015 Ashish Ranjan & Ors. V/s Union of India & Ors., counselling of State Quota seats will be conducted after completion of All India counselling for respective rounds by Medical Counselling Committee (MMC) of Directorate General of Health Services,β the official notification said.
Maha CET Cell conducts counselling for providing admission to state quota seats in different courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and others. A total of 9,000 MBBS and 3,526 BDS seats in the state will be filled through Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2021. Candidates have to register online and submit application form to participate in the seat allocation process. A merit list is released comprising names of registered candidates. These candidates have to exercise choice of college and course for seat allotment. Finally admission in different courses is provided on the basis of NEET 2021 rank, availability of seats in particular course and college, and reservation factor.
