The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 dates have been revised for the second time by CET Cell Maharashtra. The announcement has been made after the postponement of the All India NEET 2025 Counselling dates by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on August 6, 2025.

Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 Dates Revised

The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 dates have been revised for the second time by CET Cell Maharashtra. The announcement has been made after the postponement of the All India NEET 2025 Counselling dates by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on August 6, 2025.

Even though the Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 seat matrix and fee structure have been released by the counselling authorities on August 6, 2025, the merit list is still awaited. As per the revised dates, the Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling merit list is scheduled for release today, August 6, 2025. The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 choice filling process was originally scheduled to begin today, but has been postponed to August 8, 2025.

Announcing the revised dates, CET Cell Maharashtra stated, β€œIn view of the schedule revised by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota & State Counseling, the State CET CELL has decided to revise the schedule of MBBS/BDS CAP Round -1. The above schedule is subject to change as per the direction of various authorities like MCC / AACCC / Central Government / State Government / Hon'ble Court.”

Q: Β  When will Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 counselling be conducted?
A:

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 counselling has begun on July 23, 2025, with the registration process. The seat allotment result was declared on August 13, 2025, and the institute reporting process was conducted from August 14 to August 22, 2025. Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling Round 2 for Group A, or MBBS and BDS courses, is scheduled from September 19 to September 29, 2025. The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling for AYUSH and allied courses began on September 1, 2025. The dates for the first two rounds of these courses will conclude on October 11, 2025. 

Q: Β  When will the registration for Maharashtra NEET 2025 counselling begin?
A:

Registration for Maharashtra NEET counselling 2025 for Round 3 was conducted from October 6 to October 8, 2025. Round 1 began on July 23, 2025. The last date for registration was extended from July 30, 2025, to August 4, 2025, 11.59 PM. The registration fee had to be paid by August 5, 2025, 11.59 PM, and the documents had to be uploaded by the same date. The registration process for Maharashtra NEET counselling 2025 is completely online. Candidates must ensure that they fill up the application form with mandatory details and upload the requisite documents, and pay the application fee to complete the registration process successfully. For the Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling, the registration process is conducted for the first round only, and for subsequent rounds, candidates have to submit choices. 

Q: Β  What is the minimum rank required to get an MBBS seat through Maharashtra NEET counselling?
A:

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 50,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Maharashtra NEET.
