NEET 2025 Counselling Dates Postponed by MCC

The NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 registration and choice filling last dates were extended by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) due to the requests made by the NRI and PWBD candidates and ongoing court cases. As the Round 1 dates have been extended till August 18, 2025, it has resulted in the postponing of the entire schedule of the MCC NEET Counselling 2025.

 MCC has released the revised dates of the NEET UG Counselling 2025, which is now slated to conclude on October 10, 2025, instead of October 3, 2025, as per the original schedule.

The NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 had commenced on July 21, 2025. According to the seat matrix, there are 26,515 seats offered in Government medical colleges, Deemed Universities, AIIMS, BHU, JIPMER, Central Universities and ESIC institutes. As per the BSc Nursing seat matrix, there are 507 seats offered in Nursing colleges.

The NEET 2025 counselling process began on July 21, 2025. The dates for four rounds have been announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which is scheduled till October 25, 2025. Originally, the last date of counselling was October 3, 2025, which was postponed twice due to NRI/PWD candidate requests, and ongoing court cases.
