Q:   What is the seat intake through the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling?
A:

As per the last year's data, there were as many as 4,784 MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats across medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra. The course-wise segregation of seats will be available once the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra releases the seat matrix for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling.

Q:   What is the last date to register for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process?
A:

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra will release the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling dates for 2025 tentatively in the fourth week of September 2025. In general, the registration window for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling lasts for four to five days. Based on student requests and other external factors, CET Cell Maharashtra may extend the last date of registration.

Q:   Is it possible to participate in Maharashtra NEET PG counselling and national-level counselling simultaneously?
A:

Yes, it is possible to participate in both Maharashtra NEET PG counselling as well as the national-level NEET PG or NEET MDS counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). However, in case a candidate is allotted a seat in either of the counsellings and he/she accepts the seat by institute reporting and document verification, then that candidate will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of counselling or the other counselling type. Hence, candidates must carefully assess the admission options and then take the final decision.
