WBMCC has once again postponed the West Bengal NEET PG counselling schedule 2024. The authorities have notified that the revised schedule published on January 16, 2025, is temporarily postponed and further dates will be announced soon at wbmcc.nic.in for admission to MD/ MS admission. 

WB NEET PG 2024 Counselling Dates Postponed

West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has once again postponed the WB NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule after revised cutoff. This is the second time that WBMCC has postponed the counselling schedule within a week. The authorities have not notified the reason behind the extension of the West Bengal NEET PG counselling schedule 2024. However, it is expected that the schedule has been postponed due to the extension of NEET PG round 3 registration by MCC for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats till January 22, 2025. 

WB NEET PG 2024 Counselling Dates Postponed Again

Originally, the authorities released the revised counselling schedule for round 3 admissions on January 15, 2025. Within 24 hours, the authorities postponed the counselling schedule highlighting that the modified schedule will be announced shortly on wbmcc.nic.in. Later, on January 16, the authorities released the modified schedule for PG medical admissions in West Bengal state. At present, the modified schedule has also been postponed. 

As per the modified schedule, the round 3 counselling registration was scheduled to begin today i.e. January 21, 2025, and the merit list was scheduled on January 27, 2025. 

The authorities are expected to release the complete dates in PDF mode for round 3 West Bengal NEET PG admissions shortly on the official website. Students willing to get admission in state quota seats in West Bengal state shall be attentive as the schedule will be out shortly, highlights WBMCC.

To participate in WB NEET PG counselling, individual eligible and qualified candidate can do Online Registration and follow the process mentioned below:

  • Fill out online application 
  • Online Fee Payment 
  • Candidate Profile letter generation 
  • Physical document verification at verification venue mentioned in the candidate profile letter (Swasthya Bhavan for NRI candidates only) as designated by NIC software 
  • Publication of successfully verified list
  • Exercise Choice filling and Choice locking
  • Participate in Seat allotment by the Software as per Inter se merit
  • Another Round of Physical Document Verification at the Allotted College Level
  • Admission at the Allotted College Level, during Round 1 of the Counseling.

The WB NEET PG counselling application fee for the academic year is announced in official notification. The WB counselling fee is INR 3000/- (Three thousand only) which needs to be paid one time and non-refundable. Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee via online mode only unless specified earlier. Bank transaction statutory charges if any will be in addition.
