Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2024: Stray Round Admission Last Date Extended; Subsequent Round Schedule Soon
Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy round last date to join the allotted seat has been extended till February 28, 2025, owing to the reduction of the minimum qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2024 by NBE.
The CET Cell has extended the Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy round admission last date till February 28, 2025. Students who have been allotted a seat in the Maharashtra NEET PG stray vacancy round seat allotment results can complete the admission formalities by 5:30 PM on February 28, 2025. However, students are suggested not to wait for the Maharashtra NEET PG admission last date and complete the joining formalities at the earliest possible to avoid last-minute discrepancies.
"As per the above notice, NBE has reduced the Minimum Qualifying percentile for NEET PG-2024. In view of this the last date to join seats allotted in Online Stray Vacancy Round-1 is extended up to 05.30 pm on 28/02/2025." The official notification reads.
Meanwhile, the authorities have announced that the schedule for subsequent rounds of counselling will be announced in due course. Students who have now become eligible for the NEET PG counselling process after a reduction in the cutoff percentile will be able to apply for the counselling process based on NEET PG scores.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reduced the minimum qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2024 for all categories. Now, the cutoff percentile for NEET PG 2024 for General/EWS, UR-PwBD, SC/ST/OBC (Including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC) category is 5th percentile. However, students must note that their candidature is purely provisional subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the NBE for NEET PG.
