Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2025: Revised Schedule Released; 5,788 Candidates Shortlisted
Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025 round 1 and 2 counselling schedule has been revised. The round 1 choice filling is underway till November 27, followed by the display of first selection list on November 28.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has revised the Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling dates for round 1 and round 2 admissions. As per the revised schedule, the Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 round 1 choice filling will be conducted between November 25 to 27, 2025. Interested and eligible students will be able to complete their choice filling and locking process for PG medical course admission in Maharashtra state at medicalug2025.mahacet.org.
Meanwhile, the CET cell has announced that 5,788 candidates have been shortlisted for admissions in MD/ MS and other PG medical courses during Maharashtra state NEET PG counselling process.
The State Cell has also published details of two candidates who are not eligible for 20% Maharashtra in-service quota admissions.

No, the registration window for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling opens only before the first round of counselling. Candidates who would not register for the first round of counselling will not be able to participate in the second round. However, last year, registration opportunity was given to candidates for Round 3. Candidates must note that this was the process followed last year. This year, the process may change and candidates may be given an opportunity to register separately for each round of Maharashtra NEET PG counselling.
As per the last year's data, there were as many as 4,784 MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats across medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra. The course-wise segregation of seats will be available once the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra releases the seat matrix for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling.
