MCC releases list of NRI Candidates for NEET PG Counselling 2025; Priority system for Allotment Introduced

MCC has recently released a notification dated February 19, 2026, regarding the allotment of seats under the NRI Category. As per the official release, NRI Candidates for PG Counselling 2025 will be allotted the seat as per the priority system. This system states that priority 1 will be extended for admission to NRI Candidates and Children of NRIs. Under Priority 2 will come candidates who are First-degree relatives of NRI wards, followed by Second-degree relatives of NRI wards.
Relevance of Priority System NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round Counselling
The allotment process will be carried out in sequential order, giving preference to Priority 1 candidates first, and then, depending upon the seat vacancy, Priority 2 candidates will be considered for admission. Candidates are informed that the list provided on the official website is provisional and is subject to change as well.

- Visit the official website, mcc.nic.in/pg-medical-counselling
- Under the โNews & Eventsโ section on the homepage, click on the notice title โNotice for NRI for Stray Vacancy Round of PG Counselling 2025-26 dated 19.02.2026โ
- A PDF will appear on the screen
- Download the PDF and search your Roll Number in case you are an NRI applicant under the table titled โNRI LIST OF ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR PG (STRAY ROUND) 2025-26 ANNEXURE Iโ
Pre-Requisites for Admission via NEET PG Counselling
To seek admission through the NRI quota, candidates must present original documents (proof of NRI status, relationship certificates, etc.) at the time of institute reporting at the allotted medical college. Failure to produce the documents on time can lead to cancellation of admission.
