MP NEET Round 2 Counselling Dates 2024

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) of Madhya Pradesh has released MP NEET UG round 2 counselling dates 2024 at the official website. Students who have not participated in round 1 counselling and are willing to take admission in 85% state quota MBBS and BDS seats in Madhya Pradesh can check the round 2 counselling schedule at dme.mponline.gov.in.

The MP NEET UG round 2 counselling dates 2024 include registration dates, merit list date, choice filling date and seat allotment date of the counselling process. The authorities will allow students to edit the registration facility through candidate login between September 10 to 11, 2024. Besides, the remaining vacancy publication will be released on September 12, 2024

The authorities will release the revised merit list and list of eligible candidates for round 2 on September 12, 2024. Further, the authorities will open fresh choice filling and locking for MP NEET UG round 2 counselling 2024 between September 13 to 17, 2024. Once the choice-filling process is completed, the MP NEET UG round 2 seat allotment result 2024 will be announced on September 20, 2024

Q:   When did NEET 2024 counselling process begin?

A:

NEET 2024 counselling dates have been announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on July 29, 2024. NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 registration process began on September 5, 2024. The Round 1 was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024. As per the dates released, the last date of the counselling is October 30, 2024. The number of rounds may get extended depending on the number of vacant seats. The state medical authorities will conduct the counselling process for the 85 per cent state quota seats. The dates for counselling were different for the national level and state level admission processes. There will be four to six rounds of NEET counselling, which is the gateway for admission to medical and allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and BSc Nursing.  

Q:   What is the current scenario of NEET UG Counselling 2024?

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has reopened the NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 choice filling process on September 11, 2024. Originally, the NEET 2024 Round 2 counselling registration and choice filling was conducted from September 5 to September 10, 2024. The seat allotment result will be declared on September 13, 2024.

The Round 1 of NEET 2024 counselling was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024. 

MCC had announced that the NEET 2024 counselling dates on July 29, 2024. As of now, four rounds of counselling has been announced, which will conclue on October 30, 2024. The total number of rounds may vary based on the number of vacant seats. Ahead of the commencement of the NEET 2024 counselling process, 

Q:   Is it necessary to join allotted Medical/Dental College of Round 1 to get chance to participate in Round 2 of NEET counselling?

A:
No, candidates need not report or join the allotted college of NEET counselling Round 1 since there is free exit. However if they want to retain the Round 1 seat and upgrade in Round 2 they have to physically join the college of Round 1 and give up-gradation willingness for Round 2 at the time of admission. In case candidates decide to resign the seat allotted to them in the first round, then they can do so prior to registering in the next round of NEET counselling.
