The Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling 2026 will start within a month of the declaration of NEET 2026 results. The National Testing Agency conducted the NEET exam 2026 on June 21 at the allotted exam centres.

The MP NEET 2026 Counselling is expected to start in August. The candidates will be asked to fill the Counselling registration form and wait for the round 1 counselling schedule.

MP NEET 2026 Counselling: Highlights

The first step in Madhya Pradesh NEET counselling 2026 is registration, where candidates must register on the official DME website to fill the application form. Candidates have to provide basic details like personal and academic information.

After the successful submission of the NEET counselling registration form, the conducting body will release the list of the registered candidates whose applications will be accepted. Candidates whose names will be included in the list have to report to the document verification centres if needed; otherwise, the document verification will be done online.

After the document verification process, the candidates have to fill in their choice of colleges priority-wise. A provisional merit list of shortlisted candidates will then be released for the first round of seat allotment. After this, the subsequent counselling rounds will take place depending upon the cut-off and availability of seats.

Yes. Registration is mandatory for MP NEET counselling. Before registration, candidates will have to create profile on the official website. For profile creation, candidates will have to enter roll number, secret key, and captcha. Registration will only be successful after candidates pay both refundable and non refundable fees. After registration, preference of choices have to be declared and locked them.

Q: I could not register for the first round of MP NEET counselling. Will I be able to register before the second round?

No, DME will not accept any new registrations before the second round of counselling. However, you will be able to register for the mop-up round.

Q: Who will decide the MP NEET counselling dates?

MP NEET counselling dates will be decided by the DME, MP government in accordance with the dates set by the Medical Counselling Committee for the AIQ NEET counselling.

Q: Is it mandatory to qualify NEET to participate in MP MBBS counselling?

Yes, it is mandatory to qualify NEET 2025 in order to participate in the Madhya Pradesh NEET counselling. It must be noted NEET score will be valid for that academic sesion only. Candidates can't use previous score for NEET counselling 2025. Online registration and choice filling is mandatory for seat allotment. Candidates also have to lock the choices in the given deadline.
