NBEMS Statement on NEET MDS Answer Key 2026 Release; Check Official NDA Details
NBEMS has clarified that no NEET MDS 2026 answer key or response sheet will be released. Candidates are not allowed to share exam content, and board will not entertain any such requests.
NEET MDS 2026: National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has shared details regarding release of NEET MDS 2026 answer key in its official notification. NBEMS stated that no NEET MDS answer key or answer sheet will be shared with candidates. Board stated thatΒ NEET MDS is a proprietary exam conducted exclusively by NBEMS, and all its contents are confidential in nature.

No NEET MDS Answer Key or Response Sheet to be Released
The board clearly stated that it will not entertain any requests for sharing exam content, including NEET MDS answer keys or answer sheets. This means candidates will not be able to get official answer keys or raise objections, unlike some other national level examinations.
NBEMS has warned that any attempt to circulate or release exam content may lead to strict action. Candidates are advised to follow guidelines and avoid engaging in activities that violate norms of examination.
NEET MDS 2026 Proprietary Examination
In its statement, NBEMS highlighted that NEET MDS question paper and related materials of NEET MDS are owned by board. As per rules, candidates are not allowed from sharing or publishing any part of exam content in any form, whether verbal, written, electronic or mechanical.

No, NEET MDS result is different from the scorecard. The NEET MDS result is declared in the form of a merit list as a PDF file with the marks and ranks of all candidates. On the other hand, the scorecard contains detailed information about the individual candidates and their performances. The NEET MDS result is also referred to as merit list, where candidates can check their overall score along with the All India Rank. On the other hand, the NEET MDS scorecard gives candidates their individual scores along with qualifying status.
A total of five rounds of NEET MDS counselling are conducted for seat allotment. Originally four rounds are conducted by MCC, after which an additional round is announced based on the seat vacancies. It must be noted that whole process of counselling is held online. Eligible candidates will have to register online to participate in the seat allotment process. Registration can be done in every round. Apart from registration, NEET MDS counselling comprises steps such as choice declaration, seat processing, allotment result and document verification.
NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the NEET MDS exam conducting authority, releases the cutoff scores or the qualifying scores along with the result. The NEET MDS 2025 result was released on May 15, 2025. The NEET MDS 2025 cutoff was also released on the same date. However, on August 14, 2025, NBE released a notice stating the reduction of the NEET MDS 2025 cutoff percentile by 19.863 percentile for all categories, as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare recommendation.
Aspirants are encouraged to follow only official notifications for updates regarding results and further admission. While memory based questions and unofficial answer keys may circulate online, these are not endorsed by NBEMS.
