NEET 2025 Registration Begins; Exam on May 4

NEET 2025 exam will be held on May 4, 2025. The registration process has started on February 7, 2025, and the last date of registration is March 7, 2025, 11.50 PM. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the complete schedule for NEET 2025 which will be conducted in 13 languages for admission to undergraduate medical courses.

The application fee has remained the same as last year. Candidates have to complete the NEET 2025 application process in online mode only.

How to Register for NEET 2025

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to register for NEET 2025.

  • Visit the official website of NEET 2025 – neet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the NEET 2025 Registration link under the Candidate Activity section
  • Click on New Registration
  • Before moving towards registration, download the information bulletin and read the instructions thoroughly
  • Read the instructions and click on the check box and click on Click here to Proceed
  • Fill up the mandatory personal information and create password
  • Enter the captcha and click on Submit tab

Once the NEET 2025 registration number and password are generated, go to the homepage and click on login for existing users and complete the application process by filling up the form and paying the application fee.

The NEET 2025 application fee has to be paid online, through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. NTA had earlier released the NEET 2025 syllabus and exam pattern. While the syllabus has remained the same, the NEET 2025 exam pattern has been changed, rather revoked to the pre-COVID era.

NTA is expected to start the NEET 2026 registration in the first week of February. The last date of application is likely to be scheduled for first week of March. NEET 2026 will be conducted in the first week of May. 

Q:   What is the significance of APAAR ID for NEET UG registration?
A:

APAAR stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. APAAR ID is a unique 12-digit code which acts as a permanent digital identity for students using which they can store their academic details such as mark sheets, scorecards, etc. NEET aspitants neeed to link their Aadhaar with the APAAR ID to register for the exam.
