NEET 2026: National Testing Agency has introduced identity verification measures for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. That has made Aadhaar-based biometric verification mandatory at exam centres. This is aimed to ensure transparency, preventing impersonation and strengthening overall security of medical entrance exam. As per latest advisory, candidates appearing for NEET UG 2026 will have to undergo biometric authentication using Aadhaar details at exam centre on day of exam.
NTA has clearly stated that candidates must ensure their Aadhaar details, including biometric data such as fingerprints and photographs, are updated to avoid any issue during entry. Biometric verification will be held alongside other security checks before candidates are allowed inside NEET exam centre.
Candidates can visit their nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra to update details such as fingerprint, iris scan, photograph and personal information. Along with Aadhaar verification, NTA has provided multiple security protocols for NEET UG 2026 exam.
