NEET MDS 2025 Application Process to Reopen on April 3 at natboard.edu.in
The NEET MDS 2025 application process will be reopened on April 3, 2025, by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for the newly eligible candidates. The last date of application is April 6, 2025. Only those completing internship between April 1 to June 30, 2025, will be able to apply.
NEET MDS 2025 Application Window to Reopen on April 3
The NEET MDS 2025 application process will be reopened on April 3, 2025, by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for the newly eligible candidates. Only those candidates who will be completing their BDS internship between April 1 to June 30, 2025, will be eligible to apply for NEET MDS 2025 within this window.
The NEET MDS 2025 application correction window will be provided for one day, April 9, 2025. The exam date will remain unchanged, which is April 19, 2025.
Announcing the same, NBEMS has stated, “Pursuant to the directions from MoHFW vide letter dated 24.03.2025, the last date of completion of internship towards eligibility for NEET-MDS 2025 has been extended to 30.06.2025. Accordingly, the online applications are being invited from 03.04.2025 till 06.04.2025 for registration of students completing internship between 01.04.2025 to 30.06.2025.”
Earlier, on March 26, 2025, the Government of India had announced the extension of the NEET MDS 2025 internship cutoff date from March 31 to June 30, 2025. The official notification released by the Dental Council of India (DCI) stated, “It is hereby informed to all NEET-MDS aspirants that the GOI has decided to extend the last date for completion of internship to become eligible for NEET-MDS, 2025 to 30.06.2025.”

The NEET MDS 2025 application process was conducted from February 18 to March 10, 2025. The application correction window was opened from March 14 to March 17, 2025.

In general, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) or NBE provides the NEET MDS application correction facility twice. In the first round of NEET MDS application correction or edit window, changes can be done in any of the fields except for name, nationality, email, mobile number and test city. On the other hand, in the final edit window, candidates have to rectify their deficient or incorrect images or photographs, signatures and thumb impressions.
No, there is no fee involved for editing the NEET MDS application form. Only those candidates who would complete the NEET MDS application process by paying the requisite application fee will be eligible to make changes or avail the edit window for NEET MDS. It is important to identify the changes to be done on the NEET MDS application form and execute those within the said timelines, otherwise their application will not be considered and they will not be eligible to apper for the exam.
