Earlier in the day the Centre decided to postpone the exam by 6-8 week. The decision was undertaken after students had urged NBE to postpone NEET PG 2022 date due to clash with the counselling schedule. A petition was filed by a group of MBBS students, urging the court to direct NBE to postpone the exam date and revise the cutoff date for internship. Students believed that due to COVID-19 duty, many of the aspirants couldn’t complete their internship in the given deadline and they should be provided revised cutoff deadline. The matter was scheduled for hearing in the Supreme Court. According to the latest updates, the court deferred the hearing to February 8.
NBE has also announced the revised dates for other crucial events such as release of the admit card, correction window, and the result date. NEET PG 2022 admit card will be released on May 16 for candidates who will apply successfully and fulfill all eligibility criteria. As per the revised date, the correction window will open from March 29 to April 7.
