NEET PG 2024 Cutoff Reduced to 5 Percentile for All Categories; Check Official NBE Notice
The NEET PG 2024 revised minimum qualifying criteria for the general/ EWS/ UR/ SC/ ST/ OBC category is 5 percentile. However, no change in NEET PG 2024 rank and percentile score has been announced by NBEMS.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reduced the qualifying percentile of NEET PG 2024. The authorities have announced the NEET PG 2024 revised cutoff through a notification on the official website natboard.edu.in. Students willing to get admission based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) can now appear for the counselling process if they have over and above the 5 percentile. For the ease of students, provided below is the tabulated category-wise revised cutoff for NEET PG 2024.

The authorities have revised the cutoff for all categories including general/ EWS/ UR/ SC/ ST/ OBC categories which is tabulated below:

The authorities have notified that even though the NEET PG 2024 cutoff percentile is revised, the students are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission and notified that there will be no change in the NEET PG rank and percentile score as published on August 23, 2024.
"Candidature is purely provisional subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed in the NEET-PG 2024 Information Bulletin. It may be noted that there is no change in the NEET-PG 2024 Rank and percentile score" The official notification reads.

NEET PG 2025 cut off his reduced if seats remain vacant. Last year, MCC had reduced cut off percentile for general category to 15. For SC/ST, the cut off eligibility was reduced to 10. Candidates who have marks as per the revised cut off will be participating in remaining counselling rounds for NEET PG 2025.
National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases cut off for NEET PG. It must be noted the cut off is releases along with NEET PG result. Candidates have to score minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The minimum cut off is different for different category. For the general category, the minimum qualifying cut off is 50 percentile marks while for SC/ST, the qualifying cut off is 40. The cut off depends on a number of factors including the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appeared etc.
