NEET PG exam 2025 was conducted on August 3, 2025, and results were declared on August 19, 2025. Candidates have faced uncertainty due to postponed counselling schedules.

It was highlighted on X (formerly Twitter) by Dr Lakshay Mittal, who tweeted, โ€œNEET PG counselling is finally scheduled to start tomorrow. Candidates should complete registration and choice filling at the earliest to avoid missing deadlines.โ€

Delay in NEET PG 2025 counselling process has been caused because of ongoing legal proceedings regarding transparency of exam.

Supreme Court of India hearing was initially scheduled for September 26, has been not postponed to October 28, 2025.

Apex court petition challenges National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) over release of NEET PG answer keys and question papers. Petitioners have argued that current disclosure methods lack transparency and hinder the verification process.
