NEET UG 2025 result hearing, for students who were affected due to power failure in Madhya Pradesh state, from the 11 examination centres, has been deferred to May 29. The petition was filed in the Madhya Pradesh High Court seeking a retest or any other relief.Â
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has postponed the NEET 2025 result hearing date to May 29, 2025. The MP High Court has deferred the petition seeking a remedy for the students who were affected due to a power failure at many exam centres in Madhya Pradesh state on the NEET UG exam date, i.e. May 4, 2025. During the hearing, the Solicitor General put arguments before the court. However, the hearing date for NEET UG 2025 has been deferred and will now be held on Thursday, May 29. The affected students urge that they must be allowed to take the exam, as they were unable to complete the exam due to the darkness.Â
During the previous hearing, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta mentioned that a special committee will be made to investigate grievances that have been received from 24 exam centres in Indore.
On the other hand, Advocate Mridul Bhatnagar, who represents the students, demonstrated that over sixty applications were submitted from Madhya Pradesh's Indore and Ujjain districts, underlining the exam disparities. He added that in Indore, a power loss lasting around two hours hampered the exam, while in Ujjain, energy was absent for approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
