Shiksha Poll Reveals 50% Candidates Edited Personal Details in NEET SS 2024 Correction Window

The NEET SS 2024 application correction or edit window was provided by the exam conducting body, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in two phases. According to a Shiksha.com poll ran on in which fields did candidates edit on the NEET SS application correction window, 50 per cent of the respondents voted on Personal Details.

While the primary NEET SS 2024 edit window was provided from February 27 to March 3, 2025, the final correction window was open from March 11 to March 13, 2025. In the primary window, candidates were given a chance to edit the information entered in the different sections of the form, and in the final window, candidates could edit the images uploaded, such as photograph, signature and thumb impression.

Shiksha.com Poll: Which fields did you correct in NEET SS 2024 application form?

The above-mentioned poll questions had the following four options:

  • Personal Details
  • Academic Details
  • Photograph or signature
  • Paper or subject choice

The majority, or 50 per cent users selected Personal details, followed by Academic details, which accounted for 33 per cent. 17 per cent users voted for changing photograph, signature or thumb impression. The final option for paper or subject choice change did not have any takers.

NEET SS Correction Window Non-Editable Fields

The following fields could not be edited in the NEET SS application correction window:

  • Name
  • Test City
  • Nationality
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID

The NEET SS 2024 admit card will be released on March 25, 2025. The exam will be conducted on March 29 and March 30, 2025, in 36 cities across India. This year, NBEMS has introduced time-bound sections in the NEET SS exam pattern.

Q:   What is the schedule for NEET SS exam?
A:

The NEET SS 2025 exam will be conducted in a window of two days and two slots each day. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes or 2 hours and 30 minutes. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the NEET SS 2025 exam on December 27 and December 28, 2025. Q:   What is the date for NEET SS 2025 exam?

The NEET SS 2025 exam dates are December 27 and December 28, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on both days, from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and 2 PM to 4.30 PM. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) postponed the exam dates from November 7 and November 8, 2025.

A:

Yes, NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences provides correction facility for NEET SS application form. There are two correction or edit windows provided only for those candidates who submit the application form on time by paying the requisite application fee. The first NEET SS application correction window is for making the basic changes in the application form, in the permitted fields. In the second and the final correction window of NEET SS, candidates are given the opportunity to correct the deficient or incorrect images or files uploaded, such as photograph, signature and thumb impression. Both the NEET SS application correction windows are provided for three days.
