Time Bound Section in NEET SS 2024

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released a notification regarding the time-bound section in the NEET SS 2024 examination. The board has announced that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Speciality Courses (NEET-SS) will have mandatory time-bound sections in order to enhance the security and sanctity of the entrance examination. The official notification comprises of NBEMS notice dated May 4, 2024, highlighting the introduction of time-bound sections in all NBEMS MCQ-based examinations such as NEET SS, NEET MDS, NEET PG, DNB PDCET, GPAT and others. 

NEET SS 2024 Question Paper Pattern

The NEET SS question paper 2024 will consist of three time-bound sections i.e. Section A, B and C. Each section will consist of 50 questions and 50 minutes will be allotted to complete each section. For time-bound sections, students have to keep a note of the following points: 

  • Students will not be allowed to proceed to the next section till 50 minutes of the current section is ended.
  • Students will not be allowed to review questions or modify them after the 50 minutes of that particular section is concluded.
  • Questions of the next section will automatically begin once the time of the current section is completed. 

NEET SS 2024 Demo Test From Today 

NEET SS demo test 2024 will be available for all interested and eligible candidates under the NEET SS application link 2024 from today i.e. March 20, 2025, onwards. Further, students will be able to download their hall ticket from March 25, 2025 onwards for the examination scheduled for March 29 and 30, 2025. 

Q:   What is the schedule for NEET SS exam?
A:

The NEET SS 2025 exam will be conducted in a window of two days and two slots each day. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes or 2 hours and 30 minutes. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the NEET SS 2025 exam on December 26 and December 27, 2025. Q:   What is the date for NEET SS 2025 exam?
A:

The NEET SS 2025 exam dates are December 26 and December 27, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on both days, from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and 2 PM to 4.30 PM. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) postponed the exam dates from November 7 and November 8, 2025. 

Q:   Does NBE provide correction facility for NEET SS?
A:

Yes, NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences provides correction facility for NEET SS application form. There are two correction or edit windows provided only for those candidates who submit the application form on time by paying the requisite application fee. The first NEET SS application correction window is for making the basic changes in the application form, in the permitted fields. In the second and the final correction window of NEET SS, candidates are given the opportunity to correct the deficient or incorrect images or files uploaded, such as photograph, signature and thumb impression. Both the NEET SS application correction windows are provided for three days.
