NEET SS Counselling 2025
MCC, the official counselling conducting body of the NEET SS exam 2025, will most likely begin the counselling process for the academic year 2026-26 from February 20, 2026. Candidates who qualified the NEET SS result released by the National Board of Examination (NBE) on January 23, 2026 are eligible for participation. The counselling process for all 13 super speciality courses will be held in online mode at the official website, mcc.nic.in. Find out all about the NEET SS counselling process here:
There will be three rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e., Round 1, Round 2, and Stray Round. Candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET SS are eligible candidates. Before seeking admission through the counselling process, please note that there is NO RESERVATION in Super Specialty (D.M./M.Ch./DNB) courses as per the Direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
Documents Required for NEET SS Counselling 2025
Aspirants must note that for the Round 1 Registration, documents supporting the facts mentioned in the application form will be required. Some of these documents are listed below:
- NEET SS Scorecard
- NEET SS Admit card
- Bachelor’s degree of MBBS
- Certificates of MD/MS/MDS
- Permanent Registration Certificate
NEET SS Counselling Fee 2025
To participate in the NEET SS counselling, candidates will have to pay a mandatory Non-Refundable Registration fee of INR 5000 (Five Thousand only) and a refundable security deposit fee of INR 2,00,000 (Rupees Two Lakh Only).
The NEET SS counselling registration process is completely online. The step by step process to register for NEET SS counselling is given below:
- Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in
- Click on the Super Speciality Tab
- Click on the New Registration tab under the Candidate Board Activity section
- Enter the mandatory details such as NEET SS 2023 Roll Number, Password, Security Pin, and click on Register
- Login again and complete the registration process by paying the registration fee
Only those candidates who will complete their NEET SS counselling registration process will be eligible to participate in the further steps of counselling
In order to participate in the NEET SS counselling, candidates will have to appear and qualify for the exam by securing the NEET SS cutoff marks, which will be announced by NBE along with the result. Also, eligible candidates will have to register and fill the seat choices as per the seat matrix to be eligible for seat allocation. Last year, before the final round of NEET SS counselling, NBE had revised the eligibility criteria, wherein there was no cutoff marks applicable. Any candidate who had appeared for NEET SS exam and have completed the postgraduate medical course were eligible to participate in the NEET SS counselling special round.
