NEET UG 2021 Counselling: Mop-up Round Registration, Choice Filling and Locking to End Today
MCC has extended the NEET 2021 counselling mop-up registration, choice filling and locking processes till March 16. Candidates who are yet to complete these processes must do so by today, within the slated timings.

How to Register for NEET 2021 Counselling
Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to complete the registration process:

Candidates will have to visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in

The next step is to click on the tab indicating NEET UG Counselling followed by the ‘Online Registration’ tab.

They have to enter details such as name, registration number, personal details, academic details and the details mentioned on their NEET result.
 -  
The final step is to pay the NEET 2021 registration fee through debit/credit card/net banking/UPI modes.

NEET 2021 Counselling Choice Filling and Locking Process
The NEET 2021 counselling choice filling and locking processes are as follows:

Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in.

Click on the tab ‘Online Registration’ at the bottom of the page.
 -  
Log in with the registration credentials.
 -  
Click on the tab indicating Choice Filling.
 -  
Check the entered choices carefully and submit.
 -  
Click on the lock button.
 -  
If a candidate does not lock the choice submitted by him/her, it will be automatically locked as per schedule.
 -  
Take a printout of the locked choices.
 
Points to Keep in Mind During Choice Filling and Locking Rounds
Candidates must note the following points before the final choice locking process:

The registration process including the payment of the registration fee is complete before proceeding towards the choice filling and locking stages.
 -  
Male candidates must ensure that they do not select female-only colleges such as Lady Hardinge Medical Colleges, New Delhi; BPS Govt. Medical College for Women, Sonepat; Ahilya Bai College of Nursing, New Delhi, to name a few.
 -  
Once the choice locking process is completed, there will not be any option to revoke or change the choices. Hence, candidates must be careful during this process.
 
Owing to the extension of the registration, choice filling and locking processes for the NEET 2021 Mop-up round, the schedule for the upcoming events including the release of seat allocation results and institute reporting will also be extended. However, MCC is yet to announce the updated dates. As per the original schedule, the result was slated to be released on March 19 and the institute reporting process was scheduled from March 20 to March 27.
