Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has asked all states and UTs to ensure smooth and fair conduct of NEET UG 2026 re-exam. He also directed authorities to provide basic facilities like drinking water, seating, fans and transport support for students.

NEET Re-Exam 2026: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has written to all Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors and Administrators, seeking support for smooth, fair and successful conduct of NEET UG 2026 re-exam scheduled on June 21. In his letter, the minister also asked states and Union Territories to ensure proper facilities for students appearing in the exam, especially due to ongoing heatwave conditions in several parts of the country.

Centre Asks States to Provide Basic Facilities at Exam Centres
Union Education Minister requested state authorities to direct district officials and institutions hosting the examination to arrange all essential facilities for candidates. These include safe drinking water, proper seating arrangements, working fans or coolers, clean washrooms, shaded waiting areas, uninterrupted electricity supply and portable toilets wherever needed. The minister stressed that students’ safety, comfort and well-being should be given top priority during exam.
