NEET UG Registration 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to begin NEET UG 2026 registration this week. Students who are willing to get admission to MBBS and BDS programmes have to qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate. Students who will score over and above the NEET UG 2026 cutoff will be eligible to appear for the counselling process and select their desired college for admissions to UG medical or dental programmes. 

NEET UG 2026 Registration: Who Can Apply? 

The NEET 2026 eligibility criteria are provided below for all candidates: 

  • A student must be 17 years old to appear in NEET UG 2026. There is no upper age limit to apply for the exam. 
  • Applicant must have passed (or be appearing for) the 10+2 (Class 12) examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with  Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as mandatory subjects.
  • Students from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) or state open schools are also eligible, provided they meet the subject requirements. 
  • Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs and PIOs are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2026. 

NEET 2026 Application Date: Documents Required 

Before the NEET UG 2026 registration begins, students are required to keep the following documents ready for registration: 

Class 10 Passing Certificate

Postcard-size Photograph (4"x6")

Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS - if applicable)

Candidate's Signature (Running hand, black ink)

PwBD Certificate (if applicable)

Left & Right Hand Fingers and Thumb Impressions

Citizenship/Embassy Certificate (for NRI/OCI/PIO)

Address Proof (Present and Permanent)

What is NEET 2026 Form Fill-up Date?

The NTA has not yet announced the NEET exam application date 2026. However, the past trends suggest the registration process is likely to open this week. The NEET 2026 registration start date is expected by February 7, 2026. Candidates are advised to keep their documents ready to avoid last-minute discrepancies.

Registration is the first step of application wherein candidates have to enter the basic details, validate the OTP and create password.   • Verify OTP received through SMS and email.
  • Log in and fill up the application form.
  • Upload the documents (photograph, signature, finger and thumb impressions of both hands, category certificate).
  • Pay the application fee in online mode through credit/debit card, net banking, and UPI.
  • Submit and save the form.
