A clarification notice has been released by NTA over the allegation by the Rajasthan Special Operation Group. NEET UG 2026 exam was conducted under full security protocol. The question paper was transported in GPS-tracked vehicle with unique, traceable watermark identifier.

National Testing Agency has released the clarification report regarding the irregularities around NEET (UG) 2026 claimed by the Rajasthan Special Operation Group. The agency said that NEET UG 2026 was conducted on May 3 2026, as scheduled and under a full security protocol. 

On May 7, 2026, NTA received inputs regarding malpractice activity around the examination. The agency had escalated the input to the central agencies on May 8, 2026, for independent verification and necessary actions.

The agency is investigating the matter, and the facts will be released by the agency in due course.

NTA has also mentioned that the hard work and dedication of genuine aspirants will be respected and protected. The agency understands that the news regarding investigations or irregularities can create fear, stress, and confusion among students and families. 

Further, the agency has requested students and families not to panic and allow the investigating agencies to complete their inquiry properly. Any necessary actions will be taken carefully under the guidance of the Ministry of Education.
