Odisha NEET Counselling 2021 Deferred; Check Details

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) has postponed Odisha NEET Counselling 2021 till further notice. The counselling was scheduled to start from Monday, November 29. The news dates for Odisha NEET Counselling will be released soon on the official website, ojee.nic.in.
“In supersession of the previous circular (OJEE / 452 dated 25.11.2021), this is for the information of all concerned, that the process of registration for counselling and admission in MBBS / BDS Courses, that was scheduled to start from 29.11.2021, is hereby deferred till further notice,” the official notification dated November 27 said.
OJEEB will be conducting the counselling for admission to 85 seats in MBBS/BDS courses in institutes across the state. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting counselling for rest of the 15 percent seats. NEET 2021 exam was conducted on September 12 and the result was announced on November 1.
There will be four rounds of Odisha NEET 2021 counselling including mop-up round. The mop-up round will be conducted only when seats are left vacant after the third round. NEET 2021 qualified candidates will have to register and fill applications to participate in the counselling for Odisha MBBS admission 2021. They must have domicile of the state. After registration, candidates will have to declare choices of courses and college and locking them in the given deadline. Seats will be allocated on the basis of choices filled, availability of seats, reservation criteria, and other factors. The eligible candidates will get admission to around 1950 MBBS and 363 BDS seats in private and government colleges across Odisha through counselling.
